Meet the management team

Danny started his insurance career with Lloyd's of London. He worked there for ten years, initially as a marine reinsurance claims adjuster before joining the IT department as a developer.

In 2000 he was one of the founder employees of Mi, setting up the development team that he managed for 10 years.

Previously in charge of development, Danny is now heavily involved in business development - both new sales and account management - and a key member of the management team.

Colin originally joined Commercial Union on their graduate trainee programme before moving into an underwriting role.

He then joined Independent where he worked in Operations, providing a link between IT and the business on development projects.

He joined Mi in 2001 in a project management role. Colin is heavily involved in delivery and key consultancy work.

Richard started his career at Lloyd's of London working on various strategic placing systems, before leading the development of their risk assessed capital applications.

After a short period at Enron, he joined Mi in 2002 to lead the change to a Microsoft platform.

Richard was the primary technical architect of the Mi Trader platform and previously was Technical Manager, controling platform direction and heading up the R&D team.

With the main aspects of Mi Trader now complete, Richard (although still the technical "guru"), is now Development Manager, working closely with the Delivery Manager.

David joined The Logic Group in 1999 as a Visual Basic developer and subsequently became part of the Development Line Management Team. In 2005 he joined Mi as a .Net Developer focussing on client deliveries on key projects. In 2007 he moved to Financial Risk Management before re-joining Mi in 2008 as Support Team Coordinator. David has responsibility for client support, production systems hosting and QA.
